This valve has the new "John Guest" style fitting which allows you to just push the waterline directly into the valve from the ice maker. It's that easy and no leaks! The other end will have the standard 1/4" compression fitting that your supply line will hook to. This valve will work with most all refrigerators that have the freezer on top or bottom. It will NOT work with a refrigerator that has a water filter built into the refrigerator from the factory.
